Back in September when I made the hiatus announcement officially for the rebrand, I was a little scared I wouldn’t come back to blogging even though I had the domain purchased and commissioned for a new logo and icon* that had begun the process. But like I mentioned in the announcement, it’s a risk worth taking (and it’s not like I had plans to leave; things just happen).
*It’s so beautiful and amazing and made by MikaLogo.
But here I am! I’ve made it back and in one piece. If you’ve stopped by in the past couple weeks, you already saw the new look (and saw that comments and likes were back in business on the site)! It might have had a few minor messes here and there, though. I was going to migrate the last week of October so I can finish up final touches and work out any issues, but then I had a dental procedure scheduled that same week, so I moved it a week earlier (and also so I don’t have to think about the blog too much for a week, not that I’ll ever stop myself from taking a break when necessary!). My other option was going a week later in November or even moving it to December, which I would’ve been perfectly fine with, but I finished most of the work aside from a few touches I can do slowly over time or as I come across them because I missed them during my look over. I could also put up a coming soon message, but I didn’t want to close off access to the blog completely when I was already closing off engagement (and I’m already bad at that in the first place!).
Plus, today’s 13 years of this little blog of mine! Can’t believe it’s a teen and I’ve been blogging for almost half of my life…

Welcome to Hannah, Fully!

Hannah, Fully is a literary and lifestyle blog featuring book reviews and other media-related content, but it’ll also feature other things I’m interested in (like stationery!). It’s been something I’ve been pivoting toward for the past few years, but it’s finally real and happening, and I’m super excited. I’m feeling more content with my blogging space now; you could say it’s feeling more fully Hannah from the look of the blog down to the new logo and icon. 🤪 I also think I’ll be more content about writing other topics without feeling boxed in (even just a little) to the fact that my old blog name gives off “book blog” automatically (which there’s nothing wrong with, by the way!).
What’s Next for Me and the Blog
While I’m excited to begin my new blogging chapter, I don’t think I’ll go back to a regular posting schedule, at least for the time being. I’ve got some major life transitions coming up in 2026 that are up in the air currently, so I need to concern myself with that; it’s also why I opted to not push the rebrand migration until December, because there would be too much going on in my life (we don’t need more stressors). And I want to at least try to post a wrap-up once every 2 or 3 months as like a proof of life of sorts when I post less often since I’ve not been actively posting publicly on social media for nearly 5 (!!!) years and plan on keeping it that way for now. I just don’t feel connected to social media as much as I did as a teen*, and the constant noise (a lot of it being the same disputes) mostly irritates me. I also don’t want to outright say that I might go on another hiatus sometime next year because the 2-3 months proof of life in the form of a wrap-up has worked out pretty well for me in the past few years when it was needed, so I’m pretty confident that’ll be the same case.
*Maybe this is why I’m not working with social media. I probably would’ve pivoted to something else eventually.
I know I also talked about starting a Substack and did in fact start one just to try out the name before the rebrand, but never wrote a single post on it. I don’t plan on changing that anytime soon, so the blog is the best place for the latest posts from me with MSN being second (I don’t post all of my content there, though).
Of course, anything could change in the next few months as life is ever-changing, but this is what it currently looks like as things stand!
Anyway, posting-wise, I have the wrap-up for September and October β there’s some rebrand/behind-the-scenes updates! (Maybe I’ll do a full post one day, hehe.) β sitting in the drafts that’s ready to go up in the next couple of days (this Tuesday or Friday probably). I fully intended on doing a review for all 10 volumes of A Business Proposal but uh… that draft never got started, oopsies. It’s so funny and sometimes unhinged in the best type of way, though, I highly recommend it, and I’m so glad the webtoon got published into book format so I can go “pretty please can you get” at my work.
I also have a post related to Five Year Diaries in the works and my 2025 journaling setup/2026 changes, both of which will probably* go up in the next couple of months. And for reviews, those will just go up as I’m feeling it; these days I haven’t been reading much or not feeling like reviewing them. Yet here I am with the ambitious goal of staying on top of my 2025 ARCs… (I’ve been mostly on top of it, though, so that’s a win.)
*I say probably because sometimes those drafts never see the light of day after I forget about their existence for half a decade.
As for the blog and final touches of rebranding, I’ll be changing things over to the new name and such shortly β probably in the next few days or weeks if I haven’t gotten around to doing them during my hiatus. This post is going to be sticky for the next few months β I haven’t decided how long yet β in case anyone tries the old URL and gets a little confused.
“Do I need to do anything?”
If you’re subscribed via email, you should be transferred over already and continue to receive new posts from me (at least until you no longer want to receive them). WordPress Reader is also transferred as well, and MSN has been updated to match the new branding, so you won’t need to do anything unless you’ve bookmarked me.
If you’re an author, publisher, PR professional, etc. that I work with, I’ll still have access to my old email and will respond/reach out to update my information when I have the energy if I haven’t done so yet. I tried reaching out to everyone from the past few months regarding the changes, but I more than likely missed someone, oopsies. For mailing lists that I can update on my own, I’ll do that accordingly.
If you’ve ever linked or bookmarked one of my posts or my old blog, I’d recommend going through and updating them* when you get the chance. Most of the permalinks if not all should still be the same outside of the main one, but if you do need help locating a post, please reach out, and I’m more than happy to help you locate the correct URL or let you know if it’s been deleted! I still own the Bookwyrming Thoughts domain until June 2028, so everything will redirect at least until then, but it’s possible I’ll release it instead of paying for two domains. The domain, however, is a problem for Future Hannah to deal with.
*It really sucks to be Clo right now. I’m mentioned way too much. 😂
Final Notes
As always, thanks so much for visiting, commenting and liking my content over the years! It’s definitely a privilege to be able to create content and continue writing in my cozy little corner of the internet and the world, even if it feels like we’re spiraling into the mud (and then some). Here’s to new blogging chapters! 🎉
Hannah has a penchant for chaos, which is probably how she ended up blogging since 2012. That, and she was probably too expressive for her parents to handle, so it had to go somewhere. She can be found occasionally at The Arts STL. If youβd like to fuel her boba addiction or just enjoy her posts and want to support her, stop by her KoFi or Buy Me a Coffee!
