About Hannah, Fully

The Beginning

Hannah’s blogging journey started long ago in a life far away February 2012, when she was merely 14, looked up to a few bloggers in the Wizard101 community and decided, “I’d like to claim my personal space on the Internet.”* She also thought it was the coolest thing ever and came up with the most unoriginal blog name.

*She was a very expressive child with a penchant for chaos. Her parents probably didn’t know what to do with this, and that’s probably why she’s in therapy now. Unfortunately for them, she is now an expressive adult with a penchant for chaos. She just doesn’t lock everyone out of the house now.

A few months later, she got bored and created Bookwyrming Thoughts, named after a librarian NPC in the last world of the first storyline arc of Wizard101. It became a long-time creative outlet for her to share her thoughts about books with a dash of shenanigans, but has since evolved into a lifestyle blog with an emphasis on books and other forms of media, specifically those with Asian representation.

Hannah, Fully is a new blogging chapter that encompasses all the above. It’s a literary and lifestyle blog, but ultimately, it’s a safe space where she can be Hannah, fully, and share her favorite things with anyone who stumbles across this space.

About Hannah

The One Behind the Posts

Hannah is a 20-something Asian American blogger from St. Louis who has been procrastinating before she was ever born, but still manages to get things done. She’s been stuck filling in her full name for everything because the system can’t find her for as long as she can remember.

She tends to overthink a lot of things, carry around various journals and other stationery assortments, and usually has K-Pop running in the background. But that wasn’t always the case for the last one, because when you were an Asian girl surrounded by non-Asians, most of them thought K-Pop was weird, while she saw herself represented in them and could dream of being them. And so that little girl, in order to try and assimilate, tucked that love away and didn’t touch it again until BTS started shattering records years later. It’s been a journey.

Currently, she works as a library associate (hey, full circle!), where she seeks every excuse and opportunity possible to feature and boost Asian authors. Occasionally, she’ll be sipping on boba, treating herself to dim sum, or living her best life in a cozy game (or trying to, at least).
